Getting started
- Profile — weight, FTP (or let a test define it), max and resting heart rate.
- Apple Health — enable it in Settings to import your rides and runs and your daily wellness. If your activities come from Garmin, check in Garmin Connect that sharing to Apple Health is on (workouts, heart rate, sleep).
- Your first incremental test — 8–10 stages of 3–5 min starting around 40–50 % of your maximal aerobic power. Export the protocol to your Garmin, ride it, import it: stages are pre-filled from the laps; type or dictate the lactate values. Open Tests → Protocol → Example to see what to expect.
- Field samples — during a normal ride, log a lactate value by dictation, with Siri, or with the Edge lap button. After the import, the session screen shows measured vs predicted.
Frequently asked
My session did not import
Open Settings → Diagnostics. Apple Health imports need the workout to be shared to Health by its source app; FIT files can always be imported manually.
Why did my LT2 change after an update?
Thresholds are recomputed from your raw stages with the current method; the Thresholds card shows the method (Bishop, Cheng or discrete) and you can choose it in Settings → Analysis.
Where is my data?
On your device. Export a JSON backup from Settings before deleting the app or changing phone. See the Privacy Policy.
